Steeleye Span - Parcel of Rogues (England 1973) @320

The album grew out of a theatrical project the band undertook, a version of Robert Louis Stephenson's Kidnapped, staged in Edinburgh.
The book and play were set against the backdrop of the Scottish Jacobite movement, and in the course of developing the play, the band came across a considerable amount of 18th century Scottish poetry that they mined for the album.

Thank you for all the Steeleye Span albums. Most of the links are still good, but alas Parcel of Rogues links have been deleted.

Greetings, Having come accross your blog (amazing) and been introduced to Steeleye Span in particular, I began chasing your blog backwards but have found 2 Steeleye Span entries that cannot be downloaded. Parcel of Rogues and Sails Of Silver. These are unique in that the link points to Multiupload as opposed to Rapidshare. On the assumption that Rapidshare was one of the options and that the links are still alive would you please be so kind as to post them? Truely a shame that one of the artists was so vile to you. My guess is that they don't want thier music heard. In any case, thank you for your work.
